Hello, fellow dog owners! I’ve decided to continue my previous post Halloween Costumes for Dogs and Owners here as a separate post since there’s a lot of superhero costumes, and I didn’t want it to take forever for you to search for the perfect costume…
One that will make your dog look like the superhero he or she certainly is!
Without further ado, here we go…I’ll be adding the dog costumes first and then some more superhero costumes for adults to match for you too!

>>Click the image to get one for your dog!<<Pros: A few things about this Superman costume that I noticed in the reviews over there on Amazon are that many dog owners that have tried this on their dogs were very satisfied with it. Some of the things they mentioned as being great about it is that their dog was comfortable in it, it fit well, and was easy to put on their dog. According to the product description, it comes with an attached cape and chest piece, but reading the reviews there, many of the people that bought this claim there is an additional tool belt that comes along with it.
Cons: About the only negative things I read there was one customer had the “S” fall off of the chest piece and the string to attach the chest piece a bit short. But, other than that everyone else had no problems with it and absolutely loved it!
My Recommendation: I’d certainly recommend this Superman costume…Many stated their dog is comfy in it and that’s important! Plus, it’s certainly not a high price to pay for a little fun on Halloween with your dog.
One little note…if you’re looking for a Large Superman Halloween Costume or X-Large you might want to get one soon…there’s not too many left, 17 or 18, I believe it was when I noticed as I was looking for info on it…but who knows…maybe there will be more available.

Dress up as the most well known superhero of all time…Superman! Wouldn’t it be awesome for your dog to have Superman at its side?
>>Click the image to get one for you too!<<Cons: The biggest problem I could find on this costume is the fact that there is not a zipper in the front, which could be a bit of a hassle if you reeaaally gotta go! Another issue that quite a few mentioned is the back closure is only Velcro, which occasionally comes undone. This little nuisance can be remedied by a few safety pins added to the back. The third issue I noticed is that the boot covers are made a bit on the small side and didn’t cover the whole foot, but the rest of the costume is a little too large in the upper chest area. Many of the reviewers suggest getting a size smaller than what you would get if you go by the size chart there.
My Recommendation: I’d certainly give this one a try, well…buy one for my hubby…since most people who have already worn it find it to be very well worth the money and are looking forward to wearing it again.

This Supergirl costume is made of quality material with both a velour type of feel to it and a shiny, smooth feel to the skirt according to others who have bought and worn this Halloween costume. Another good point of this superhero costume is it is well constructed and not cheap looking and flimsy like many other supergirl or superwoman costumes.
Cons: Sizes run big…so, order a size smaller than what you usually do, but it’s probably a good idea to read more of the reviews there before choosing which size is best for you. Another issue with this Supergirl costume is quite a few ladies had problems with the skirt being too short. Finally, the last issue I noticed was the boot coverings, which were too small and many didn’t care for the quality these were made with.

It’s Batman…no, wait…it’s Batdog!

What would Halloween be without this classic hero of Gotham City? I’m pretty sure your dog would look super handsome in this Large Classic Batman costume shown in the image below…
>>Click the image to get one for your dog<<Pros: Most dog owners that purchased the Classic Batman Halloween costume for their dogs were satisfied overall. The costume comes with a cape, chest piece with the famous batman logo, headpiece with ears, and a tool belt. The points they mentioned liking about it were that it was easy to put on and take off, and the main part of the costume, the chest piece and cape, appeared comfortable for their dogs. Another point many mentioned was the fact that the chest piece was easy to adjust to fit their dogs using the strings attached…( I couldn’t resist…pun intended!)
Another thing many people were happy with was the price…it’s pretty cheap and does the job!
Cons: While the majority of people were quite happy with this Batman costume, others had some complaints about it. The main negative point I noticed in even the reviews from many people who recommend this costume was the headpiece either didn’t fit right and the ears wouldn’t stay up and their dogs didn’t like it on their head. So, don’t be surprised if the headpiece isn’t exactly up to standard.
A couple of other negatives about this dog costume, according to the reviews on Amazon, is on some dogs, the chest piece was a little too wide and required some extra adjusting such as trimming it smaller to fit and a few complained it was too complicated with all the string tying…
My Recommendation: I’d certainly give this one a try too…I think it looks adorable in the picture…and even if the headpiece doesn’t work out, well, so what? Our dogs already have ears in the first place and for the price, I’d be willing to do some adjusting if possible to the headpiece. I think it’d be quite an affordable and adorable costume to try out this year, although I’d check the sizing thoroughly first and also measure my dog for as proper a fit as I could get.
I’d love to see what one of our dogs would look like in this since Batman is my favorite super hero!

>>Click Image to get one from Amazon!<<Pros: Costume includes attachable Cape, Shirt, and eye mask. Most dog owners who reviewed this one claimed it was very cute on their dog. Easy to take on and off and the shirt stays on like it should being a couple more good points I noticed.
Cons: Other people who purchased this one were a bit disappointed due to the sizes ran rather smaller than expected and a few claimed it wouldn’t fit their dog. Another point mentioned was the sleeves being a little too long on some dogs.
My Recommendation: I’d probably still buy this one, but I’d be careful to check the sizes compared to my dogs actual size. It seems the ones with smaller dogs had better luck with this one, at least as far as I can tell from reading the reviews there. It sure is a cute costume though, and at the price…well, really that’s not all that much to spend. If you’ve gone shopping for Halloween costumes before, I’m sure you’ll agree that it isn’t much compared to some of the ones seen in stores and other websites.

>>Click the image to get one for your dog<<Pros: Very cute little costume, but not too many reviews to base too much info on here. Out of the five that did review this one on Amazon, three seemed to love this one…two saying it looked cute and fit perfectly, and one just stating “awesome.” Sorry, there’s not much for me to say about it here, but I haven’t tried this one on our dogs, so I can’t tell you anything else.
Cons: The other reviews mentioned that it didn’t fit right and one also mentioned the material it’s made of feeling “weird.”
My Recommendation: I do wonder about the material myself since it looks rather stiff and plastic like. I probably would make extra sure that I measured my dog properly and checked their different size options to see the measurements for each size since it doesn’t look like it would be too stretchy, if at all.
For the price, it’s still not a bad costume…as far as I can tell.

Most people that bought and wore this costume for Halloween in the past did agree that this was a good buy for the money when it came to the overall costume…it did its job and worked well enough for wearing out to a Halloween party or out trick or treating. However…the mask is another story!
Cons: The mask is horrible…I couldn’t find a thing positive about it at all! Most agreed that it either didn’t fit well, didn’t look good, and was of poor quality…very cheap looking. One more thing a few people didn’t like about the clothes for the costume is that it is very thin, polyester type of material typical of most costumes, which are on the cheaper end…I guess you get what you pay for…
My Recommendation: Well, if you’re looking for a Joker costume that doesn’t cost a whole lot, I’d give it a try….and, I’d also buy some face paint to use instead of the mask. I don’t care much for masks anyways myself since I’d rather add my own touches, but that’s me…

>>Click the image to get one for you!>>Cons: A couple of bad points to consider were the muscle-chest piece and the headpiece. The muscle chest doesn’t fit the greatest on smaller or “skinny” guys, but fits well on heavier built men according to my research when reading other reviews. It tends to buckle up somewhat on skinnier men since it’s built rather wide.
The second biggest complaint about this costume is the headpiece is rather flimsy and doesn’t stay true to the shape it should…
Another complaint was there wasn’t enough Velcro closures in the back to stay shut when bending a lot.
My Recommendation: I think this looks like a great costume myself…especially since it fits the heavier build, you can always add more stuffing or foam to the chest piece to make it fit right instead of buckling up if it’s a bit big on you. If something is too small…well, it’s hard to do anything about that now isn’t it?
Another suggestion I would recommend is to buy black boots and gloves to go with the Batman look…and probably this too Batman The Dark Knight Adult Batman Full Overhead Latex Mask, Black, One Size
This would be the Batman costume I’d choose for my hubby anyways…but there are others too that may be more to your liking since there’s different styles of Batman costumes over the years…

Hey, Who is That Masked Woman? Batwoman? No, It’s Batgirl!
I, for one, happen to like the whole Batman thing, but I don’t really want to dress up as a man, so although there’s no Batwoman…there’s a Batgirl costume for adults….hmmm, I always wondered why?
After all, there’s Catwoman…it’s not Catgirl…Oh well, enough of my rambling and on with the review….

Most women who have worn this costume were very happy with it, according to my research over on Amazon’s reviews…as it hugs the body, but stretches in all the right places!
Although I didn’t read all 300 plus reviews, I noticed quite a few women even commented that it is an extraordinarily flattering costume when they wore it…and would wear it again to another Halloween outing!
Cons: I really couldn’t find much on this one that was terribly bad…only a couple things that weren’t too much of a big deal such as a few that bought it didn’t like the appearance of the mask as it is a bit cartoonish for their taste and one other gripe I noticed here and there were sizing issues….
The sizes for this Batgirl costume runs on the large size according to those who’ve ordered it already….so, be sure to check out that sizing chart if you decide to buy this one! For example, if your size runs towards the smaller end of the sizing scale there, then order a size down. But, if you’re right in the middle or higher, the exact size should fit…
Anyways, when ordering, I’d always recommend checking out the sizing charts available there and also reading reviews there to see what others say too…it’s saved me a lot of headaches!
My Recommendations: I’d definitely recommend this one, since I don’t see very many complaints at all about it! It would seem well worth the money, especially if you wear it more than once.
Plus, the thought that a Halloween costume actually works as it is intended… to have fun, and could be flattering and maybe a bit sexy instead of awkward and frumpy…well, I might just try this one out myself some Halloween, lol.

Most people who bought this were happy with it for the reasons it fit well and was very cute looking on their dogs. It is mentioned in one of the reviews there that it is quite stretchy, which helps to make this costume fit much better..
Cons: The only negatives were the skirt and shoulder straps slipped down occasionally. Since the dress or skirt part goes all the way around the dog, it often slipped down towards the dog’s tail due to the dog accidentally stepping on it. This might be a tiny problem for short-legged dogs.
My Recommendation: I’d definitely recommend this one! it’s not expensive, looks comfortable, well fitting, and delightfully cute! Plus, others who’ve bought this really seemed to love it and were extremely happy with it.
I’d certainly try this out on my furry girls!
